We offer government funded childcare places for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds through the 15 and 30 hours free childcare scheme.

Term Time Funding -

15 hour per week is available for all 3 and 4 year-olds ( and some 2 year olds) for 38 weeks per year.              30 hours per week are available to working families for 38 weeks per year.

It is possible to spread your funded hours across the year instead of just term time (known as "stretching").

Both 15-hour and 30-hour entitlements may be stretched over 51 weeks (for year-round care).

Please note: We can offer a maximum of 10 hours per day funded between the hours of 8am and 6pm. PAYMENT POLICY

All fees must be paid in advance of childcare. Contractually we may charge £1 per day on late payments.

LATE COLLECTION POLICY

Late collection payments will be charged at £10 per 10 minutes. This is to cover the statutory requirements of at least two staff members having to remain in the building until your child is collected.

We charge for meals and snacks as this is not included in your free entitlement place. We charge a voluntary consumables fee to cover enhanced provision which is also not included in the free entitlement. The free entitlement only covers basic provision. The list of enhanced provision is comprehensive, so please feel free to ask for our list from a member of management.

VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS

At Little Jo's Day Nursery, we ask for a small voluntary contribution for funded places. This is to help cover the cost of consumable items such as high quality resuorces, craft supplies, celebrations, cleaning products realted to child's care (e.g. individual bedding or hygiene kits), tissues, baking ingredients and much more. This list is exhaustive, please ask a member of the team for full list if required.

These contributions are entirely optional and are not a condition of your child attending the nursery. Whether or not you choose to contribute, your child will always recieve the same high standard of care and access to all activities. However, we ask you to provide particular items for your child.

We provide Breakfast, Morning Snack, Dinner with Dessert, Afternoon Snack and Tea for paid places. Meals and Snacks are not included in funded places, however you can choose to opt into our food service or bring your own meals and snacks. Please note, we cannot warm meals and our refrigerated storage is limited, so an ice pack is required.
